Where it started, and what was in the way

Starting point

Everything about facility walkthroughs was organized for desktop browsing. On smaller screens the route to an inquiry was buried under introductory text.

The problem

Day to day with facility walkthroughs, people gave up partway through the menu or called simply to ask where things were. Even the team struggled to direct someone to the right page without a desktop in front of them.

02Build

What we built

The mobile structure was flattened into a short path: an overview, maintenance coverage and site access requirements and a prominently labeled inquiry button. Sections were resequenced to match the questions people ask first.

In the client's words

Directing someone to facility walkthroughs used to mean describing the menu over the phone. Now it is one link and one sentence.
